Troubleshooting:
They were currently trying to get a test on the stack on the 9H that they were fixing to start a stage on. They were coming out of the hole on the 8H with wireline.
Reason:
Cody: 12:20 pm 9-10-2018 Cody was on the phone with Gene about valves leaking. He said that he saw both company men come of of or near by the wireline truck. Cody thought that both company men walked out from the wireline truck. He thought it was the wireline company man Rags that told him to shut the hydraulic. They were fracking on the 9h. It wasn’t holding a test so they wanted to shut in the hydraulic to see if it was leaking by. Cap was right next to Cody at the time. He saw the company man walk right beside the wireline truck and gave him the signal to shut in the well. He mistook the signal from the company man to mean shut in the wireline well since he came from the wireline truck. Cody was talking to Gene (evs operations manager) about the problem we were having getting a test on the frac stack on the 9H well. He heard wireline blow the horn on the wireline truck signaling that they were almost out of the hole shortly before this happened. Rags told cody to shut in the hydraulic valve and Cody thought that Rags was the Wireline company man at the time. Cody walked over to the 8H and shut the hydraulic valve on the 8H (stack they were wirelining on). After the incident we figured out that they on had a couple hundred feet or less of wireline in the hole. They called braided line to come fish. Erick: Coming out of the hole with wireline, working on the well they were going to frac on 9H. Wireline honked the horn. Erick went to wireline truck, other guy coming out of frac van. Rags (frac) told him to close it. Rags was yelling at him but he didn’t hear it. He should’ve made sure that he know which well. He’s ok with Cody. Erick was doing wireline, older guy gave him the signal. Night guys are frustrated with our guys. JD, Bryan.
